Project Overview:

These empty-nesters were ready for a makeover. It all began with their vision to add custom built in shelving around the fireplace. Since the homeowner is a gifted woodworker, he was up for the task. We agreed that a tile inset and antiqued mirror in the niche would add distinctive touch. The layout needed to incorporate a reading chair for the man of the house and an extra long sofa for the family to gather around the fireplace. Many of the design elements, from the earthy rug to the faux bois floor lamp, reflect their love of  nature. They were thrilled with the glorious transformation!
