The bright white cabinets, shiny stainless steel and bold yellow walls clashed with the sensibility of the earthy tiles, green granite counters and leaded glass windows. The cabinets were painted a soft pearly hue and walls a subdued “Hush” with lower bead board a black hue to restore the vintage feel of this Philly brownstone. The corner banquette with custom quarter round table was designed to offer a cozy dining area. Easy care vinyl upholstery allows the family pooch to be welcome there, as well. The quaint china themed fabric of the cornice and table linens unifies the color scheme and sets the homey tone for this vintage kitchen. Retro pendant fixtures and ivory leather stools embellished with unique hardware enliven the central counter area.
