Color Transformation – It’s Easy Being Green

 My favorite topic is color.

And my favorite hue is green.

If you are a lover of green, like me, this is your year!

We all know color is more than just color. Sherwin Williams reminds us that:

“There is so much more to color than what meets the eye. It’s a part of our identity. It moves us. It has the power to change the very essence of everything it touches. Color can set a mood, create a conversation, soothe and ground us.”

This earthy version of green featured in Sherwin Williams Method palette for 2022, reminds us of  “nature’s processes, the gentle acts of becoming, showing themselves in a collection of organic neutrals and tonal luxury.” When combined with rich leather upholstery and warm woods, it creates a sense of comfort.

This cooler misty green works well with gray,  giving these living rooms an ethereal quality.

Similarly the celadon walls, tile and textured sofa fabric in this family room create the comforting Nordic Hygge vibe that this young family was seeking.

The various shades of green in the decor, along with the botanical motif of the drapery fabric relate the interior of this master bedroom to the natural world beyond.

Of course, plants are always a wonderful way to introduce green and enliven your home.

Leaf green combines well with the blues that have been so popular in recent years, to create a garden like setting for this retired couple.

In contrast, this combination of Kelly green and navy, throughout this Exton home is bold and artful.

In the guest room, we added brilliant orange accents with the existing emerald green of the carpet to refresh this previously dreary space.

There are so many wonderful greens and only 350 more days of the year to get your green on!

Go Eagles!!!
